Chumiie Technologies Limited

Terms of use

These terms explain how you may use Choomiie to arrange haulage, rides and parcel delivery, and what to expect when you make a booking.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your access to and use of Choomiie’s website, applications and related services (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Chumiie Technologies Limited (“Choomiie”, “we”, “us” or “our”), based in Accra, Ghana.

By creating an account, making a booking or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms and any conditions shown for a particular service or booking. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Additional terms presented during a booking form part of your agreement for that booking.

2. What Choomiie does

Choomiie provides a platform for customers to find and arrange haulage, rides and parcel delivery with service partners. Unless we expressly say otherwise, the transport or delivery itself is provided by the relevant driver, operator or other service partner, not by Choomiie.

We may help coordinate bookings, payments, communications and service issues. A listing, estimate or booking request is not a guarantee that a particular partner or service will be available.

3. Your account and information

You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and meet any age or eligibility requirements presented for the service. Do not create an account on someone else’s behalf without their permission.

4. Bookings, charges and escrow

Review the service details, price, pickup and destination information, timing and any partner conditions before confirming a booking. You are responsible for ensuring that the details and instructions you submit are complete and correct.

Where the Service uses escrow, payment is held while the booking is in progress and released according to the confirmation process shown in the Service. The Service may release payment after the stated confirmation period if no issue is raised. Escrow does not remove your obligation to pay valid charges or prevent us from reviewing a reported problem.

Prices, taxes and any additional charges will be shown or explained before you confirm where applicable. Payment processing may be provided by a third party and may be subject to that provider’s terms.

5. Your responsibilities

Use the Service lawfully and treat customers, drivers, operators and Choomiie personnel respectfully. You must not misuse the Service or interfere with its security or operation.

  • Provide safe, lawful and accurate instructions for each booking.
  • Do not request or transport prohibited, dangerous or unlawful goods.
  • Do not use the Service for fraud, harassment, discrimination or other unlawful conduct.
  • Do not attempt to bypass payment, impersonate another person or access another user’s account.

6. Changes, cancellations and service issues

A booking may be changed or cancelled only as permitted by the conditions shown for that booking and our Refund & Cancellation policy. Service partners may also be unable to complete a booking because of circumstances outside their control.

If a service is delayed, incomplete or otherwise differs materially from what was agreed, report the issue through the support channel made available in the Service as soon as reasonably possible. We may review booking records and communications to help resolve it.

7. Availability and liability

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service to maintain or improve it. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or that every service partner will be available at all times.

To the extent permitted by law, Choomiie is not responsible for losses arising from a service partner’s acts or omissions, inaccurate information provided by a user, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is not permitted.

8. Suspension, termination and changes to these terms

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law or enforce these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; outstanding bookings, charges and provisions that by their nature should continue will remain in effect.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the current version on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice through the Service where reasonably practicable. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Disputes will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.

For questions or a service concern, use the support or contact details made available through the Choomiie Service.
